Air Canada is the official airline for the 2008 CIPHI
Conference. Following your payment for conference registration, a
special promotional code will be provided to entitle you to a 10%
discount on Air Canada fares for the conference.
A few tips for first time visitors to Newfoundland
and Labrador:

If you wish to rent a vehicle, please do so in
advance, as there may be high demand in the summer months. There
is a wide selection of vehicle rental companies based in St.
John's airport.

Taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is $20, plus
$2.50 for each additional person. Meter rates apply for the
return trip.

Climate for St. John's in late July:
Average maximum temperature = 21oC; Average minimum
temperature = 11oC; Frequency of precipitation in July =
43% (Pack a variety of clothes, to cover all kinds of weather.)
